This night was the "Beata" celebration at Valldemossa. It means "Blessed" and is in honour of the "Beata Catalina Tomàs". She is Valldemossa's saint, as she was born there.
Firtst, there is picture time at Saint Catalinas house, in front of a flower-decorated framework. In the background is a bronze statue of Santa Catalina.
At the end of the night there is a parade of decorated carts. On the carts are children wearing traditional majorcan costumes.
