On my way I came across a small chapel called "St. Luzikapelle". It almost seems like the chapel is inside a cave because the rocks overhang the small building. An old man told me that there is some kind of natural image of a saint in that rock. You can see it on my painting, it is just on the right hand side of the turret. Over here they say it's Jesus reading a book. Can you see it?
After that, I went up to the Mittenberg alp. It is a beautiful place wherefrom you have a nice panoramic view. The Rhein-valley streches along the Brambrüesch mountain on the one side and the Calanda mountain on the other side. Stop at the small cottage, the perfect place to have a picnic.
